Following on from the opening days mauling at Clay Cross Phoenix could have been forgiven for a hesitant start to their second game of the campaign
Records show that one has to go back to March 2017 to find the last time Phoenix were involved in a drawn game. That day saw Phoenix travel to Harworth to battle out a three all draw.
Phoenix journeyed down to Collingham for a tie against bottom side Newark Town, and if one wanted to keep the report short, three words would cover it all: -
