History

Hucknall Rolls Leisure FC was formed in 2007 playing at the Rolls Royce Sports ground, Watnall Road, Hucknall.
The side initially played in Division One of the Notts Senior League which they won in style along with the Notts Intermediate County Cup, beating Notts Police on penalties at Hucknall Town.

The club was set up with current Chairman, Tony Dorsey, Manager, Jez Corthorn and Secretary, Mark Towlson as the driving forces, who still remain to continue the club’s development in the Central Midlands Football League.

The time in the NSL was productive as the club established a reserve team that currently play in the NSL Division One. The first team were also two time runners up in the NSL league cup before finally winning it in their last season 2013/14 beating Boots FC in extra time at Arnold Town’s Eagle Valley ground.

The First team management team of Jez Corthorn and Jonathon ‘Toddy’ Wass are supported by Andy ‘Boz’ Tring and Reece Jackson as the Reserves management team.

The club took its first season in the CML in its stride and but for a poor end to the campaign could have finished in the top 6. We did however achieve our best run in the Nottinghamshire Senior County Cup eventually losing 6-3 to Retford Town in the quarter finals.
