MIDWEEK MATCHES

A quiet midweek with just three matches played on Tuesday evening. In the Premier North Division Kiveton Miners Welfare hosted Rossington Main Development, taking the points as a 35th minute Solly Limb goal proving decisive. There were two early goals at Harworth Colliery with the home team’s Josh Fraiwald scoring in the fifth minute only for Daniel Barke to put visitors Woodhouse Colts level three minutes later. The deciding goal came three minutes before half time, Keenan Leeds completing a 2-1 win for the Colts.
Armthorpe Welfare made it four wins from four in Division One North with a 3-1 defeat of Bottesford Town, all the goals coming in the second half. Ollie Hemstock gave Armthorpe the lead on 51 minutes, Daniel Teixeira scoring the equaliser with 63 played. Liam Williams’ 75th minute goal followed by one from Kieran Baskerville ten minutes from the end completed the scoring.

WEEKEND MATCHES

BLACK DRAGON BADGES PREMIER NORTH DIVISION

The goals flowed on a blisteringly hot afternoon. Elite AFC certainly took a liking to the heat as they ran in double figures at Kiveton Miners Welfare. The visitors were four up at the break, Robbie Wood, Sammy Amissah, Bartek Chrobak and an own goal virtually sealing the win. The second half proved even more fruitful, Amissah taking his total to four, Wood completing his hat trick and Jordan Carter making the final score 10-0. A strong Rossington Main Development deepened the gloom at Glapwell, Damien Wieczorek hitting five in a 9-0 win. Wieczorek’s first half Hat trick and goals for Ronin Herrington and Sam Ackroyd put the home side firmly in control by half time with Jordan Wilkinson, Will

McGhie and another two from Wieczorek completing the scoring. Dearne & District maintained their 100% record at the head of the table, defeating Hatfield Town 7-0. Josh Moore opened the scoring in the third minute with Bayley Lowe adding a second on 38 minutes. Moore got another shortly afterwards, Regan Kelly getting number four on the stroke of half time, Moore’s hat trick goal and two for Enzo Guarani finishing the job. Also unbeaten are AFC Bentley who extended their run with a 2-0 defeat of Staveley Reserves, Theo Mowatt scoring the first after half an hour and Craig Aspinall confirming the win three minutes from time. A late show at Armthorpe where Doncaster City beat Chesterfield Youth 3_0. The match was goalless until the 72nd minute when Rio Allan put City ahead. He repeated the feat on 83 minutes, Shay Evans-Booth making sure of the points two minutes from time. Retford Reserves were 3-1 winners at AFC Phoenix, Brandon Hooley, Leo Kovak and Joel Bradshaw with the goals, Lloyd Chuba with one for Phoenix. A single Josh Baxter goal on 31 minutes for Dinnington Town won a distinctly uninspiring game at SJR Worksop.

PREMIER SOUTH DIVISION

Three teams share the lead at the top of the South Division, two of whom remain undefeated. Derby Singh Brothers inflicted the first defeat of the season on AFC Normanton who took a 5th minute lead with a Jak Lightly goal. Singhs equalised with a Khaleeq Shaffique goal and took the points with late strikes from Tyler Johal and Lee Williamson. Graham Street Prims beat a Holbrook St Michaels side still seeking their first points of the season. Prims won 3-0 with Max Bulmer opening the scoring two minutes before half time. Alex Seale doubled the score on the hour with Bulmer getting his second in the 85th minute. Mickleover RBL also had a 3-0 win, this one against Cromford & Wirksworth Town, Mason Booth-Davies with two and Jordan Lee the Legion’s matchwinners. Bakewell Town kept up their unbeaten run but dropped their first points of the season in a 2-2 draw at Wirksworth Ivanhoe. Daniel Gwyther and Jack Higton with the goals for Ivanhoe, James Bean and Aaron Maund replying for Bakewell. Pinxton secured their third win in a row at Arnold Town, the game finishing 4-0. Harley Kozluk’s &th minute goal was the only one in the first half but two in a three minute spell early in the second period from Brad Newby and Morgan Richards settled the outcome, Ben Jones’ 82nd minute strike the icing on the cake. South Normanton Athletic went behind to Melbourne Dynamo’s Oscar Supple’s first half goal, but Elliot Bland equalised before half time, Sam Jackson’s winner clinching the points for the Shiners. Sanousi Ibrahim’s 3rd minute penalty gave Linby Colliery the perfect start to their home game with Mickleover Reserves, but after Kai Moore had levelled the scores on 11 minutes, Sam Tomlinson put the visitors in front with 54 minutes on the clock. The result was in the balance until two minutes from time when Mason Tudgay sealed it for Mickleover. Two teams still looking for their first points met at Melbourne Park, visiting Mayfield finally opening their account, Ian Godfrey’s goal enough to defeat Nottingham FC.

MACRON STORE NOTTINGHAM DIVISION ONE NORTH

New boys Streina FC suffered a totally demoralising defeat as Armthorpe Welfare accumulated no less than twenty unopposed goals. For the record, the scorers for Armthorpe were Brad Sparrow and Bartek Grzywa with five apiece, a Harrison Mercer hat trick, doubles for Ollie Hemstock and Keiran Baskerville with one from Liam Williams and two own goals making up the total. The North Lincolnshire derby ended in a 5-2 win for Crowle Colts at Appleby Frodingham. Crowle’s goals were shared between Brooklyn Finch, Kayden Stevens, Jon-PauL Broughton, Nathan Lock and George Neal. Frod’s reply came from Adam Whomersley and Rio Jacomb. Worksop Town thumped Harworth Colliery 8-2. Rhys Butterworth’s hat trick was added to by Tom Bedford, Finlay Watt, Louis Brown, Liam Betts and Max Eastwood. In the other match Dearne & Districf defeated Bessacarr 2-0.

DIVISION ONE EAST

Ashland Rovers have made a positive start to their quest to reclaim their Premier Division status. They recorded their fourth successive win 6-1 win at Pilsley Community, a Ryan Butler hat trick, two for Matt Fowler and one from Michal Gawlik doing the job for the visitors. Pilsley’s consolation goal came from Shane Marriott. Shirebrook Rangers shaded the first half hour of their match with Blidworth but the visitors finally got a grip on things, running out with a 6-0 win. Goals for Blidworth came from Reilly Hodgkinson (2), Brendan Clarke, Lee Naughton, Tristan Burrell and Will Horton. A tight encounter at Kirton Brickworks saw the home team pinch the points in a 4-3 win against Teversal. Jack March struck the opening goal for Kirton on 26 minutes, Nathan Flint levelling three minutes later. Aaron Emmerson regained the home team’s lead with 38 minutes played but there was another equaliser in stoppage time for Travis Roe. Connor Steel put Kirton in front again on 72 minutes but seven minutes later Roe once more brought the scores level for the third time. A point apiece looked likely until March clinched it for the Brickies two minutes from time. Sleetmoor United kick started their season with a 4-0 win at Ollerton Town with two goals from Connor Kerry and one each for Michael Chapman and Zach Hadman. The points were shared at Long Bennington in a 1-1 draw against Linby Colliery. The goals came late in the game, Kenzie Foat’s 80th minute goal for the home side wiped out by Josh Baldwin four minutes later.

DIVISION ONE WEST

Heanor Town were among the goals again as they were 8-3 winners at Rowsley 86. Robbie Horsley scored his second successive hat trick and there were also goals from Max Pearson, Jacob Hodgson, Tyler Beer and Josh Newnham, an own goal making up the total. Rowsley’s Monty Green, Dan Boulby and Saul Greenwood all got on the scoresheet. Bakewell Town beat Belper United 6-1. Caleb Fletcher Got a double for Bakewell, Martin Brissett, Josh Heath, Edward Finney and Justice Leach all adding to the total. Caleb Owusukwaah was the scorer for Belper. Kilburn top the table after they completed their fourth win in a row against Bargate Rovers. Chrissy Ward was the inspiration, scoring a hat trick, Kaine Bray also on target, Tom Lewis with one for Bargate. Little Eaton squeezed past Inter Belper 3-2 thanks to Gav McCready, Shilo Wilson and Dan Peberdy. Inter replied with goals for Liam Smith and Tom Bednall>

DIVISION ONE SOUTH

Just three matches today with Hilton Harriers and Allenton United remaining unbeaten, both teams winning tight games this afternoon. Hilton Harriers beat Stapenhill by the odd goal in seven. Jon Jibbison and Harry Baines both scored twice for Harriers, Stapenhill losing for the first time this season despite goals from Zack Knight, Cameron Briscoe and Dante Edwards. Allenton won at Punjab United, a goal from Labrada Domini the difference between the teams. A win for Hemington Hammers at the fourth attempt, 6-2 at home to Baobab United. There were six different scorers, Matt Brian, Aditya Sivakumar, Jason Ambrose-Jones, Karl Munton, Rio Sessions and Kyle Walsh all contributing. Baobab’s reply came again from Bamousa Cisse and Mussa Jeng.

DRAYTON PACS DIVISION TWO

Plenty of goals in Division Two with three teams hitting the net five times. Markeaton were 5-2 winners at Winster & Darley Lions with Sam Hather (2), George Evans, Nathan Smith and Marcus Charlston the scorers. Robbie Musgrave and David Glasby got the goals for Winster. Little Eaton retained their 100% record by beating Wirksworth Ivanhoe 5-1 with a goal apiece for Sam Hartshorne, Aaron Henry, Jody Burton, Aiden Buckle and James Hickling-Mace. Five without reply for Melbourne Dynamo against Ashover. Robin Bailey led the way with a treble, Joe Shadbolt and Niall Gorman with one each. A 4-2 scoreline at Ashland Rovers with visitors Castle Donington taking the points. Scott Bucknall scored twice, Ross Sims and Jack Traynor also scoring. Peter Grice and Shalom Mukasa. Aston Village Won 3-2 at Willington with two for Jordan Mayer and one from Reece Dando, Mason Bannister and Corie Whitecross with Willington’s reply. Brad Fulker and Farooq Sultan‘s goals saw Newhall United home at Sherwin for whom Oliver Wood was the scorer.
